SAA Airlink Information

SAA Airlink are a privately owned airline that has developed into South Africa's first feeder network aimed at linking smaller towns, regional centres and hubs throughout South Africa. It is no longer part of the alliance with SAA and South Africa Express, but still maintains various co-operative agreements.

Airlink was formed in 1995 and incorporated a range of other airlines. In 1997, Airlink formed a partnership with SAA and SA Express, which led to one of the most powerful aviation network in Africa. Today, Airlink flies to more local destinations than any other airline operator in South Africa, with over 3500 flights per month. Airlink services 25 destinations in Southern Africa, and has become the third largest Jetstream 41 operator in the world.
