Fly with TAP Portugal

TAP Portugal is the national carrier of Portugal, with its head office based in Portela Airport in Lisbon. TAP, as it is commonly known, has been a member of the Star Alliance since 14 March 2005. Operating from its main hub in Lisbon, this is its key European gateway into Africa, North America and South America. TAP offers scheduled flights to 65 destinations in 30 countries worldwide. The airline operates over 1,600 flights weekly with a fleet of 53 Airbus aircraft, and a further 16 aircraft servicing the regional areas of Portugal.

TAP Air Portugal Checking In

You may check-in 90 minutes to 24 hours before your flight is scheduled to depart. Online check in is available for departures. Travellers need to ensure they leave enough time at the airport to get through security, check bags etc. All passengers travelling need to be present.

TAP Air Portugal Carry-On Baggage

The maximum weight for carry-on baggage is 10kg. Excess baggage will be charged per kg. Some checked items, such as surfboards and bicycles will be charged a fixed handling fee because of size, fragility, or other handling requirements.

Seats may be pre-booked. Seats in the first class section of the plane have video screens with a selection of movie channels, personal DVD players, complimentary snacks and an expanded food menu.
