TAAG Airlines is also known as TAAG Angola Airlines and it is Angola's national flag carrier. This airline has been in existence since 1938 and the Angolan government owns 100% of it. It used to be known as DTA Diviso de dos Transportes Aereos, then DTA Linhas Areas de Angola and then the airlines name changed to TAAG, its current name, in 1974.

Check-in desks close 30 minutes before departure. Desks for long haul flights close 40 minutes before the flight departs. You must check-in all bags, and all passengers travelling need to be present.
