Qatar Airways Pet Policies
 
Qatar Airways does allow travelling with pets. Pets will be carried in the aircraft hold provided they are placed in a suitable container for transportation.
You need a veterinarian certificate complete stating that your pet is healthy and free of parasites and diseases communicable to humans. Failure to comply with these regulations will mean that your pet may be refused entry.
The container
Each animal must be placed in a container that has enough space for the animal to turn about normally while standing. The ventilation openings must be small enough so that paws/nose cannot protrude outside the container, but big enough that they can get enough oxygen. The container must be lockable.
Fees
Charges differ for pets depending on the size of container, weight of your pet and distance being travelled. Additional handling, local government and customs clearance charges may apply.
Qatar Airways
On most flights, Qatar Airways permits free of charge carriage of a service dog to accompany you in the passenger cabin. All other pet animals will be transported as checked baggage in the hold.
