Malaysian Airlines' hub is at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and its secondary hub is at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. The airline flies to 118 domestic and 114 international routes.
These international routes span all 6 continents: Africa, Asia, the Americas, Europe, and Australia. Malaysia Airlines has code share agreements with 25 other airlines. Some of the airlines that they have partnered with are Korean Air, Qatar Airways, Virgin Blue, and KLM. This gives their passengers access to many other destinations.
Malaysian Airlines Checking In
You are required to check in 2 hours before departure for international flights and 1 hour for domestic flights. There is also a self-service, web and mobile check in option.
Malaysian Airlines Carry-On Baggage
Travellers are allowed one bag and one personal item. Your carryon luggage may not weigh more than 5kgs. All carryon luggages must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you.
