Kulula is a low cost airline headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa. Established in 2001, this no-frills airline has been providing South African air travelers with a cheap, no-frills solution for well over a decade. The word kulula means "it's easy" in Zulu and Xhosa, and summarises what the airline seeks to achieve with their "full-on" approach to air travel.

Comair and the trade union Uasa, who represents 60% of its airport ground staff, came to an agreement on Wednesday on wage increases for Comair’s employees. The agreement was struck on the 20th of April. All staff members are expected to be back at work on the 21st of April 2016, after which normal services will continue.
Kulula's airport services could be disrupted on Thursday as Comair staff will be embarking on strike action. Around 700 Comair staff members will be “downing tools” on Thursday after wage talks between Comair and trade union Uasa broke down. Passengers are urged to arrive earlier for check in to avoid major disruptions.
Kulula has announced that they will be waiving rebooking fees for students whose travel plans have been affected by their universities postponement of examinations because of the Fees Must Fall protests. Students who have been affected by the postponement who need to change their flights simply need to produce their student card to Kulula to be eligible for the free booking change.
