British Airways Domestic - Seating Options


Travellers can choose their seat before check in. 24 hours before departure online check-in opens and free seating will be available. For operational reasons, British Airways South Africa might not always be able to accommodate your seat request when you make your booking. If this happens, you will be given your seat number at the airport.
Passengers have the option of paying a fee at the time of booking to reserve a seat in advance - this applies to all cabins of service.

Economy class seating has a distance of 31-38 inches between seats. All economy class seats have personal TV screens and radios.
Business class seating on British Airways has a distance of 34-73 inches between seats. All business class seats have personal TV screens and radios.
First class seating on British Airways has a distance of 78 inches between seats. All first class seats have personal TV screens, radios, pyjamas, velvet slippers and 400 thread Egyptian cotton duvet and pillow sets.
In-flight Entertainment
Most seats have personal TV screens. The entertainment on offer includes games, TV, movies, TV shows, movies, music and more.
