Air Mauritius Flights
Air Mauritius Limited is the national airline of Mauritius, and is based in the capital of Port Louis. The airline operates regional and international flights to over 30 destinations, with a total of 80 flights per week. Its main hub is at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, Mauritius.
Recently, Air Mauritius announced the introduction of flights between Mauritius and Chengdu, the capital of the Sichuan province in Southwest China, as well as a major city in the country. The nonstop service on board an Airbus A340-300 will run from 3 February, 2015 to 6 March, 2015. This will be Air Mauritius's third route to Mainland Chine, and will no doubt add to the flourisning tourism sector in Mauritius.

Air Mauritius runs a Frequent Flyer Programme entitled Kestrelflyer which allows you to enjoy a numerous number of benefits as you accumulate flight miles on board the airline. The Air Mauritius fleet consists mainly of Airbus aircrafts, ensuring a high-level of comfort during medium and long-haul flights to and from the tropical island. All of their aircrafts are equipped with the best in satellite navigation and communication systems, offer spacious seating and efficient space for carry-on baggage. Surprisingly, Air Mauritius also have 2 Bell Jet Rangers in their aircraft fleet; helicopters which offer quick, and yet comfortable transportation. Internet check-in helps you avoid the long queues at the airport. Select your seat and print out your boarding pass up to 3 hours before the flight's departure. Check in counters close at least 1 hour before departure for inter-island flights and at least 2 hours for international flights.
One carry-on item and one personal item, is allowed per traveller. A seat can be purchased to carry a large or fragile suitcase.
