The name 'one time is for the South African expression meaning 'for real!'

1Time operates eight MD80 aircrafts. These aircrafts are some of the safest and most reliable commercial jet airliners ever built. The passenger cabins in the aircraft are also designed to offer comfort and convenience of the highest level. Aircrafts feature five across seating arrangements, a much better alternative to the normal six across seating in other single-aisle airliners.

It offers three return flights a day from Johannesburg to Cape Town, with flights from Johannesburg to Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth, and George as well. Flights also operate between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, East London and Durban.
