Air France‘s made history on 18 February 2010 when it’s A380 touched down in Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport.
The A380 has capacity for 555 passengers in three classes and includes a video-screen art gallery exclusively for first class and business class passengers.
The main deck has a 10-abreast configuration, allowing for wider economy seats (I can hear a cheer!). The in-flight entertainment system is completely new, with wider screens and easier navigation offering 600 hours’ viewing choice – and the option for passengers in different seats to chat to one another via a forum.
The A380 has 6 bars on the two decks, and a changing cabin for first-class ‘La Premiere’ passengers.
Watch the video of the touch down from 18 February 2010, and book a flight aboard the marvelous A380 now.
