Kulula.com Airline Fleet

Kulula.com airline fleet consists of Boeing 737s.  Kulula Airlines aircrafts are maintained on a regular basis. The 737 is more fuel efficient and less harmful on the environment. They burn 26% less fuel than the MD82s. Kulula.com's choice of aircrafts ties in with their efforts to go greener.

The fleet includes:

  • 2 Boeing 737-800 (one leased from Transavia Airlines and one leased from Travel Service Airlines during their current fleet upgrade process)
  • 4 Boeing 737-400
  • 2 Boeing 737-200
  • 2 Boeing 737-300

Kulula planes are well known for their distinctive, humorous and brightly coloured paint schemes. Some classic livery includes the ‘cow' plane, ‘camo' plane and ‘the jetsetter' plane.

Kulula.com Airlines

Most of the Kulula flights are direct flights. There are only two routes that have a stopover, which is the Cape Town to Durban route and vice versa. The stop over is in Port Elizabeth. Passengers are not required to de-board the plane during these stopovers.
