Kulula Checking in
Kulula Airlines checking-in procedures are made up of three options for the convenience of the traveller. Travellers have the option of check-in at the counter, self service check-in or online check-in.
Check-in at the counter
You will need your green ID book, driver’s license or passport to check-in. You can only check-in 24 hours before departure and up to 2 hours prior to the flight.
Self service check-in
Self service check-in is available at airports. Avoid long queues and check in and print your boarding pass at one of the self service machines. Self service check in closes at least 40 minutes prior to the departure time. You will drop your bags at the 'fast bag drop off' counters situated at the check in counters.
You can check-in online and print your own boarding passes. Online check-in starts 24 hours prior to departure. You will drop your bags at the 'fast bag drop off' counters situated at the check in counters.
There is no online check-in available for any short haul international departures. Home printed boarding passes are not accepted at Durban, George or Nelspruit airports.
A seat will be assigned to you at check-in; however Kulula.com cannot guarantee you a specific seat number. Parents travelling with children or elderly persons are advised to not sit on the seats with 'exit' marked on the headrest.
