1 Time Checking in

1 Time Checking In
1 Time checking-in procedures are convenient and hassle free. Travellers have the option of check-in at the counter or online check-in. 1 Time recommends travellers check in 90 minutes before departure.
Check-in at the counter
1Time operates a ticketless check-in. You need proof of identity and your unique booking reference number to check in for your flight.
Check in desks open 2 hours before scheduled departure time and close 30 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights. Check in desks close 45 minutes before departure for regional flights.
Online check-in
Avoid long queues and check in online. The cut-off time for online check-in is 3 hours prior to scheduled departure. This service is available for passengers travelling with hand luggage only.
Travellers will need a printed copy of your eCheck-in confirmation. You will collect your boarding pass from the designated eCheck-in collection desks. This needs to be done at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
Seating
1 Time seats provide possibly the best legroom for an economy class product on the South African Domestic market. The MD82 and MD83 have 157 seats and the MD87 has 132. Cabins have been designed with comfort and convenience in mind.
Parents travelling with children or elderly persons are advised to not sit on the seats with 'exit' marked on the headrest.
Flying with Infants
Infants under 2 years old fly for free. They must sit on an adults lap for the duration of the flight. Each adult may only have one infant on their lap. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 16 years or older.
1 Time Airlines
1 Time started flying on February 25, 2004 with three daily return flights between Johannesburg and Cape Town. The name of the company, one time, is a South African expression meaning "for real!"
